Congratulations Americans! There is so much happiness on my Facebook feed today 🙂
Community is very important and a positive and sharing local community makes a big difference. I’m very happy to write that my relationship with some of my immediate community has strengthened recently. Yes!
After 3 or 4 days of appreciated rain, today’s a lovely sunny day. The birds are singing and the sky is blue. Let’s make the most of today!
On the flight I took today I sat near a baby called Willow. Willow was inquisitive and liked poking me in the nose. It was a joy to be around someone so inquisitive and curious 🙂
May your day be full of smiles and compliments 🙂
I had a very happy start to one day this week when I was handed the above smile on a stick. The back of the smile was the mantra give happy, live happy and its purpose was to celebrate national volunteer week.
Giving your time to a charity or a cause not only helps others but is a great source of happiness and smiles for the giver 🙂
In late 2002 I travelled around eastern Turkey and it was great to see the enthusiasm and joy exhibited by the local children.
This photo is from the far eastern town of Igdir where the bus stopped for a break.
As the saying goes every cloud has a silver lining. I’m about to receive a cloud that not only has a silver lining but is gold embossed as well!
I’m currently sitting in a articulated bus (a bus with a bend in the middle) and this reminded me of one of my childhood’s simple pleasures: taking a ride on a ‘banana bus’ 🙂
The positive and uplifting song Happy by Pharrell Williams was the feel-good hit of late 2013 and 2014.
The song’s simple lyrics and upbeat rhythm is infectious. It led to outbreaks of viral videos featuring happy people singing and dancing to the song from Somalia to Hong Kong and throughout the world.
