An abundance mentality
With an abundance mentality, the world holds an abundance of opportunities. These opportunities are there to be made and taken. Even times of disappointment often lead to the greatest opportunities.
Let’s seek and take those opportunities to lead a better, more positive and successful life!
When one door closes, another opens
There are many opportunities out there. When something we have been working on does not succeed, other opportunities will appear. Often the new opportunity ends up better than the original focus. When one door closes, another opens.
Before you speak, THINK
I think this is a great mantra to follow in order to speak more positively:
Before you speak, THINK:
T – is it True?
H – is it Helpful?
I – is it Inspiring?
N – is it Necessary?
K – is it Kind?
One small positive thought
On my way home from a run I passed a pharmacy with the follow uplifting message:
One small positive thought can change your whole day ๐
What a great thought for the day ๐
Focus on what can be
Focus your energy and time on what can be, not what can’t be. This is a basis of being optimistic and opens oneself to the many possibilities in this amazing world.
Be the change you wish to see in the world
This quote of unknown origin, often incorrectly attributed to Mahatma Gandhi, is a fantastic mantra to live by.
If you want to see a more positive and happy world, be more positive and happy. If you want to see a healthier world, be healthier.
Setting an example is one of the best ways, if not the best way, to influence others.
Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)
This title of Rozalla’s song Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good) holds a fundamental truth: no matter the situation, whether we feel good or bad is our choice.
We don’t have total control over our circumstances but we have the freedom to choose our reaction to those circumstances. I vote we choose to feel good!
Give happy, live happy :-)
I had a very happy start to one day this week when I was handed the above smile on a stick. The back of the smile was the mantra give happy, live happy and its purpose was to celebrate national volunteer week.
Giving your time to a charity or a cause not only helps others but is a great source of happiness and smiles for the giver ๐
The world is your oyster
I ย first heard this mantra a long time ago and am uncertain of its origins. There is a world of opportunity out there and it is up to you and I to make the most of it; to make the world our oyster!
