Congratulations Americans! There is so much happiness on my Facebook feed today 🙂
Community
Community is very important and a positive and sharing local community makes a big difference. I’m very happy to write that my relationship with some of my immediate community has strengthened recently. Yes!
What an inspiration!
Back in February I met a friend for a cup of tea. During our conversation I introduced her to the 4 Hour Work Week, the concept of simplifying life and automating and outsourcing work in order to maximise the time spent living one’s dreams. I suggested to my friend that she buy the 4 Hour Work Week book by Tim Ferriss.
My friend loved the concepts in the book, including, hiring a virtual assistant.
Today I met my friend again to find out, only four months later, that she has quit her job and is now successfully living the 4 hour work week!
What an inspiration!
An abundance mentality
With an abundance mentality, the world holds an abundance of opportunities. These opportunities are there to be made and taken. Even times of disappointment often lead to the greatest opportunities.
Let’s seek and take those opportunities to lead a better, more positive and successful life!
It’s a wonderful sunny day
After 3 or 4 days of appreciated rain, today’s a lovely sunny day. The birds are singing and the sky is blue. Let’s make the most of today!
Robin Williams
I have read many people’s inspirational accounts of their interactions with the late Robin Williams. From insisting venues employ homeless people to silently supporting charities to mixing with fans, every account was full of praise. He was a truly wonderful and generous man.
Recognising achievements
A significant part of being optimistic is praising people for their achievements. This includes praising others and self-praise. On a regular basis we should step back and look at what both others and ourselves have achieved and truly appreciate and recognise these achievements.
In the spirit of recognising achievements, I’m proud to write that I have now blogged positively every day for 2&1/2 months and this is my 80th blog post!
When one door closes, another opens
There are many opportunities out there. When something we have been working on does not succeed, other opportunities will appear. Often the new opportunity ends up better than the original focus. When one door closes, another opens.
Wishing everybody a great weekend
Imagination
The mind is very powerful and one of its most powerful abilities is imagination. Imagine a world of optimism and love, hope and peace.
